In the video library, select Two's Company Part 4.
Play the third five (5) words.
If desired, you can give students a graphic organizer to record definitions and generate drawings/synonyms/sentences to better understand meanings. The graphic organizer contains all twenty (20) words for Two's Company Part 4, which we'll be doing in March and April. MarchWords_graphicorganizer.docx
After students have watched videos, give them time to PAIR AND SHARE to complete graphic organizer--adding synonyms, quick drawing, and/or sentence. Then, let PAIRS PARTNER WITH ANOTHER PAIR to share their ideas.
Play a Game: Post It on Your Forehead
If time allows, have students write one word on a sticky note and stick it to another student's forehead, without the student seeing what word is written on the note. You may want to use words from the two previous advisories, giving students a chance to review the words on their graphic organizers before playing.
Students sit in small groups or one big circle.
Use the 20 questions format (yes/no questions, a yes answer gets you another question; a no answer means the next person starts asking) to allow each student to decipher what word is on his or her forehead.
