Whole-Group Discussion: Locus means "a place." Is it important to have a place that you feel is your personal space that others may not bother? For example: Your bedroom, a corner desk, a box for keeping your things. Discuss.
Jounalizing: Write a realistic "wish list" or note asking your family to give you a desired space of your own, and state the guidelines the members of your family should follow to respect your space. (For example: "I wish I had a table in the house where I may put my school work and other important things. I do not want anyone to borrow or move my things without my permission. This will be my personal space for work and leasure reading."
Homework: At home, create an organized personal space or storage box to keep your things and to help you stay organized. Identify a place that you can escape to for quiet time and relaxation away from noise and distractions.
